Superior Concrete Coating of Southwest Michigan didn't start in a garage or on a job site. It started in a tax office. For ten years, our founder ran a successful accounting firm, helping Southwest Michigan businesses manage their books and plan for the future. Then COVID hit, and like thousands of small business owners across the country, he watched his industry get labeled non-essential overnight.
Rather than wait for things to go back to normal, he pivoted. He spent time learning the craft of liquid applied flooring from the ground up, studying materials, techniques, and what separates a floor that lasts from one that doesn't. That accounting background turned out to be an unexpected advantage. It built a business where every job is tracked, every material decision is intentional, and every customer gets a straight answer.
